Besides the administrative office, this building also contains the District Board meeting room and the wastewater testing laboratory. The wastewater laboratory is used by operation's staff to test samples of the wastewater as it proceeds through the treatment process. The tests tell operators what operational changes are necessary so that treated water meets State requirements for discharge.

The Maintenance Building houses the equipment necessary to keep the wastewater treatment plant functioning. Besides the tools and equipment for maintaining the plumbing, pumps, and motors at the plant, the district must also have equipment to keep the plant and collection system running during power failures or other unexpected equipment breakdowns. In the above picture are a portable generator and a portable diesel powered pump.
